Mental Health Equity Conference

Published: May 27, 2021

The Ohlone College Mental Health Equity Scholars invite you to participate in the Mental Health Equity Conference, taking place in a virtual manner, from June 16 – 18, 2021. Registration is free. ASL interpreters will be made available. This is a student-run conference with two tracks: one for students and one for faculty, staff, and mental health practitioners working to advance student mental health across the California Community College system. Please share this with your broader campus community and encourage your students to attend.

We are pleased to announce the conference’s two keynote speakers:

Dr. Jei Africa, Director of Behavioral Health and Recovery Services, County of Marin, who is the first openly transgender county behavioral health director in California, and possibly the United States.

Dr. Jeff Duncan-Andrade, Professor of Latina/o Studies & Race and Resistance Studies at San Francisco State University.
