#EDAW 2023 is an opportunity to center on lived experiences and eating disorder education, which are the essential catalysts for awareness and change. There are thousands of events taking place around the country – locally, nationally, and online! We encourage you to join NEDA with all their events, as well as the many other organizations who are participating in this vital work! And we wish to thank all the organizations who are out there advocating for change. It takes all of us to do this.

Change is not realized in a bubble or in an echo chamber. It’s made by the people who listen, who hold true to their values, and who work humbly, and tirelessly to do what’s right. Many of the real agents of change go unnoticed. They’re volunteers, clinicians, family members, friends… people who roll up their sleeves and get it done. So, this week, in addition to sharing lived experiences, NEDA will also be shining a light on our many volunteers – from our Helpline Volunteers and NEDA Walk Coordinators, to our Campus Warriors.. you make it happen!
