This project aims to put the controls back in the hands of youth that live with mental illness by empowering them to become more educated about neurodiversity and learn about health and wellbeing. The created infographics highlight two different disorders, depression and PTSD, by taking an in-depth look on what is happening inside the brain. When it comes to your health, knowledge is power and this project allows youth to gain knowledge from a person with shared lived experiences through engaging, clear and concise resources that don’t underestimate what young adults are able to comprehend.
