Pillars of Peer Support: Transforming Mental Health Systems of Care Through Peer Support Services

The Pillars of Peer Support Services initiative is designed to develop and foster the use of Medicaid funding to support Peer Support Services in state mental health systems of care.

Navigating College: A Project of The Autistic Self Advocacy Network

Navigating College is a free handbook written by adults with autism for college students with autism. It includes a variety of different individuals’ perspectives and strategies on topics including accommodations, housing, health and safety, advocacy, and social life.

Online support community for people dealing with grief, death, and major loss, with over fifty monitored support groups for children, youth, and adults.

Gamblers Anonymous

Twelve-step program to support individuals to change compulsive gambling behavior. Website offers a broad range of problem gambling information and resources, including localized hotline information.

Friends are Good Medicine. Resources and training for peer support

Friends are Good Medicine was established in November of 1986. It was the first county-wide clearinghouse in the Central Valley. The directory was first published in 1987 to publicize support groups. Friends provide leadership training, consultation and assistance to groups, and information sheets on topics of interest to self-helpers.
